Happy 67th anniversary my lovely country, Indonesia. I'm proud to be one of Indonesian people. I'm proud of the heroes, I'm proud of the proclamation of independence. Thanks God, I'm Indonesian!

Two days ago, I have a school field work. Me and my group (Ezel and Jolie) have to visit The Plaosan Temple Complex, which is located around 20 kilo meters from my school. So we went there by motorbike. It's really great there. There, we met Nico, Acin, and KaBe from XIIA5 that also had the same field work. So here's some pics.

Being Verbose

Verbose, yes verbose. Around this week I was like a like a bit verbose, and it's just some bad part of me. Besides, I was like too fussy, but not pussy. Hahahaha. Yep today I gonna tell you about what I did around this week.

In this 24th oh August, I will play the shadow puppets (again) in my school for the Tumbuk Ageng event. Tumbuk Ageng means 8 "windu"s birthday. And a "windu" consist of 8 years. So Tumbuk Ageng is the 64th birthday of my school, SMA Kolese De Britto. So I am a little bit busy because I have to do a lot of practice. And we practice at nDalem Tjokrowasitan (The House of Tjokrowasito), Taman Siswa. Ki Tjokrowasito (+) is one of the Gamelan Mpu (master) in Yogyakarta. His composition of Ketawang Puspawarna (Kinds of Flowers was recorded at Pakualaman Palace, for the Voyager Golden record, and was played in outer space, in the mission of Voyager.  This is the poster of the event. Free of charge guys. I will tell the Dewa Ruci story, a story about finding the meanings of life and Bima's spiritual journey, finding God in all things.

Then after that, I also did some magnificent things. In the Biology class, we did a laboratory work. Imagine what, we're making fermented fruit juice there. So before the d-day, Mrs. Dewi had asked us to bring any fruit juice, and me and my group choose klengkeng (longan). I believe that will be great cause we will taste it tomorrow and 7 days after we start the fermentation. Here is some pics.

Geek Is The New Kool \m/

So, it's true that books is the window of the world. Every words will blast off our imaginations, and every pages contain an anesthesia drugs that lead you to the cape of good dream.

So like every piece of books blows fantasies, and every single part of it flow the lights.

So these are the books that I've read recently :

1. The Canterbury Tales, by Geoffery Chaucer. It was published by The Modern Library Inc. in New York, 1929 AD (glad still got this book from granny, he bought it in 1958). It was a British Poetry about the Canterbury Church and Westminster Abbey, and about those living in 1300-1500 era. The language was so hard to chew you know. A lot of Bible quotes are written there, especially from the Psalms, Proverbs, and from the prophets' prophecy (such as Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Hosea, and others). Actually it blows up my mind and I still amazed with the Anglo-Saxons those days.

2. Then, this one. Talent Is Overrated, by Geoff Colvin. Published by The Portfolio, under The Penguin Books Inc. in London, 2010 AD. It was a best seller in Great Britain, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, Singapore, and many more. "Excellent", commented the Wall Street Journal. And The Times said that it was provocative. So I've read it, and you know what? It affects me a lot. Talent is overrated, but it depends in us, what will we do with our talents.

                                     


3. The third is Si Buta Dari Gua Hantu, written by Ganes Th. in my mum's era. Around 1970s - early 1990s. It was printed again in 2010 and it was great. It was about a blind martial art master that fight the bad guys with super and even mystical power. This comic is a great comic.

So see, GEEK IS THE NEW KOOL, right? Open your minds, read your books and not your text message, bbm, and many others. Books will relieve your pains. Get your books not your swag, cause you only live once.

Hell Yeah

After many things passed, I can still write something in this page.. So like this, it's been a long time since the last update, around 5 months.. Hell yeah! At least I got something special, not something, but many things exactly.. What I've been waiting for so long..

Many damned beautiful things in this world..

Firstly, now I got someone who is caring and loving me, girl, besides my mommy... She's my girlfriend.. (P.S. : I'm proud of you, Tania).
Second thing is that I could join the "Temu Kolese" event. It was an event that held once in 3 or 4 years, the event that connect and meet-up students (but sadly, not all, only delegations) from Jesuit Colleges in Indonesia..
The third thing is that me, and my friend Angre could won the 1st winner of "appreciation of literature" contest in the Temu Kolese (actually we call it as Te-Kol)..


Big thanks to Jesus Christ, my Lord, Father, Best friend, Inspiration, and many more.. (P.S. : I'm Your biggest fans!)
Thanks also to my mom, that keep praying for me, caring me.. Love you a lot mom :*
